Image Intensifier:
A device capable of increasing light from a faint source so that it might be more easily detected.
Inflation:
The theory that the space expanded very rapidly soon after the Big Bang.
Infrared:
Radiation, which has longer wavelengths and lower frequencies and energies than evident light.
Intensity:
The amount, degree, or the quantity of energy transitory through a point per unit time
Interstellar Space:
The dim regions of space located among the stars.
