Description : On April 19th,1971 history was created by USSR launching the first unmanned space station Salyut1(DOS-1) by a Proton-K. The purpose of Salyut was to test the elements of space and conduct scientific research and experiments. The entire crew was killed in a accident and the mission was suspended after a total of 6 months in the orbit. |
