Description : Second experimental space habitat Genesis II was built by the firm Bigelow Aerospace and launched in the year 2007.It is comparatively different from traditional rigid structures and is based on the NASA TransHab design. Genesis 2 was launched on June 2007 from Yasniy, Russia. Within two days of the launch attitude control systems had damped all rotation and oriented antennae toward Earth. Several non critical systems for scientific and commercial purposes were placed on both interior and exterior of Genesis 2 |
