Description : The private American firm Bigelow Aerospace designed and built Genesis 1 which was launched in the year 2006. Genesis 1 was the first module to be sent into the orbit by the company for determining the viability of long term inflatable space structures. It was launched from Yasniy, Russia on July 12th 2006. On December 2006 , Genesis I suffered major radiation as a result of solar storm.
