Launching Shenzhou VII after Olympics

China is planning to launch Shenzhou VII which this is the third manned spaceship along with three taikonauts by next October, according to a researcher, Pang Zhihao from the China Academy of Space Technology; these taikonauts will walk around in space and this will be broadcasted live. Pang Zhihao said that; the taikonauts will walk in space as far as five meters and they will be attached to a capsule with a belt which will provide oxygen and can transfer communication signals.

The Killer Asteroid Was Artificial

The Minor Planet Center informed that a newly discovered asteroid will miss the Earth by 5600 Kilometers, and this had raised an alarm. The newly identified asteroid was officially labeled by the Minor Planet Centre, run by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory. It was known that, this space rock was one of the closest asteroid which is only about the distance of just half the diameter of Earth. Later Denis Denisenko of Moscow's Space Research found out that, this was the European Space probe Rosetta on a programmed fly by near Earth.

NASA plans to fix the solar sheets.

NASA has decided to fix the torn solar sheets at the International Space Station. The damage has cut power to the space station by 3%. An astronaut will be sent to fix the solar arrays by this Friday or Saturday. For now the station has sufficient power from its other solar arrays to keep its members of the crew comfortable. These solar panels open up into wing like projections from the station, provides 20 kilowatts of power which is approximately equal to the amount used by four or five homes on Earth.
