Asteroid to Hit Planet Mars

On 30th January 2008, there is a chance for an asteroid to hit planet Mars, the asteroid is about a size of a football field which is nearing the Red Planet at 44,900 kilometers an hour. According to scientists, the percentage of asteroid hit has increased to four percent after analyzing the archival data. Even thought there is only a little chance, many researchers are hoping that this cosmic hit will be 'cool' to study about asteroids. It has been conformed that our planet Earth has no threat due to this cosmic smash. The asteroid is called '2007 WD5'; which was discovered by Catalina Sky Survey, Arizona in November. Based on the most recent information, there is one-in-seventy five chance for that asteroid to hit the red planet this 30th of Jan.
