After 15 years, the Columbus Space Laboratory from Europe will finally be launched into the International Space Station. Engineers and scientists from Europe have been waiting for this launch for a very long time, as this entire module costs £1 billion. Originally in 1992, 17 nations from the European Space Agency signed the NASA's space station project to launch the Columbus in order to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Great Navigator's Voyage to the New World. The Columbus Space Laboratory will allow experiments, to learn about the behavior of microorganisms, tissues, cells and weightless liquids.
