NASA is tied to space shuttle until 2010


USA today's view about NASA missed the simplicity and stylishness of NASA's vision and the economic constraints it faces ("NASA, the expensive frontier," Our view, Return to the moon debate).
Readers need to know that NASA is tied to the costly space shuttle until 2010 when it could fulfill to its 14 international partners and hundreds of U.S. scientists the nation's promise to complete the construction of the International Space Station. Only then could NASA retire the shuttle and free up its funding to totally follow returning to the moon and ideal the gear for human exploration of Mars.
