Space Station Gets Fuel, Oxygen, and High Cuisine

The Progress cargo ship effectively docked with the international space station, moving the needed supplies to repair an oxygen generator, which had broken and also caused the station's first declared emergency. Beyond the essentials, the Progress then carried a payload of CDs, DVDs, letters from home, and haute cooking from renowned French chef Alain Ducasse.

There was no actual structural damage to the Progress -- unmanned and flying on autopilot – or at the space station itself. But had a second attempt failed, Mission Control was almost ready to consider a spacewalk to fix the problem.
