WASHINGTON, DC, United States (UPI) -- NASA has awarded a space program operations contract valued at the rate of $1.1 billion for the first six months of its term to United Space Alliance LLC, of Houston.
When formalized, the agreement would result in the contract running through Sept. 30, 2010.
